Ramadan is a time for gathering, reflection, and giving with intention.

Join us for a fundraiser iftar + film screening in support of SPACE & the Tishreen Project in Shatila Refugee Camp, Lebanon.

For nearly two decades, the Tishreen Project has supported families in Shatila during Ramadan through dignity-based community care. At the heart of this campaign is the Tishreen Box — a solidarity contribution that directly helps families access essential food and support during the holy month.

We will break fast together, watch The Jacket, a documentary following Palestinian theatre maker Jamal Hindawi, and learn how long-term community work in Shatila turns solidarity into real, everyday support. The film moves between art, survival, and daily life, reminding us that dignity, creativity, and care are forms of resistance.

This evening is about sharing food, stories, and responsibility — grounding generosity in real relationships.
